La ortopedia es una especialidad en la medicina que se encarga de lesiones en huesos, músculos y tendones. Es un área compleja en la cual se diferencian tratamientos no quirúrgicos versus tratamientos consistentes en cirugías, que naturalmente pueden causar incertidumbre o hasta miedo. Te aseguro que tendrás la mejor explicación de tu padecimiento para que puedas tomar decisiones efectivas.

En mi formación médica, tuve el privilegio de entrenarme en 3 áreas: la ortopedia, la cirugía de reconstrucción articular y la osteopatía, cada una con un gran potencial, y en conjunto pueden ayudar para lograr resultados muy favorables en un mismo paciente.

Nunca solo, trabajo en equipo con otros 2 cirujanos articulares, un neurocirujano y otros subespecialistas, por tanto tu salud estará siempre soportada en varias opiniones al mismo tiempo, a fin de que obtengas la mejor versión de tu tratamiento. Además, cuento con los servicios de una licenciada en terapia física que nos asesora y colabora en el mismo lugar, teniendo equipos de última generación de tratamiento en consultorio.

Un área más que he desarrollado es la ultrasonografía diagnóstica musculoesquelética en vivo, herramienta que resulta una segunda confirmación a los diagnósticos realizados mediante un minucioso interrogatorio y una adecuada revisión física, además de que es una opción muy útil para tratamientos de microinvasión.
